PocketPC Installer Professional - OEM Upgrade edition

When you use PocketPC Installer Professional to create your Desktop and PDA installer files, they will always show the PocketPCtoolkit.com logo on the screen.

These logos always appear, even if you have registered your copy of PocketPC Installer Professional.

Some of our corporate customers have requested a version of PocketPC Installer Professional that will create installers without these logos. We have now provided a method to let you do this.

After you have purchased and registered your copy of PocketPC Installer Professional, you can now buy an optional "OEM-Upgrade" license. This special upgrade will add the functionality to let you create installers without our logo on them.

To receive this new functionality:

1. For each computer that you wish to create installers without our logo, purchase one copy of "PocketPC Installer" plus one copy of "PocketPC Installer OEM-Upgrade single license".
If you have already purchased your copies of "PocketPC Installer Professional", then you just need to purchase the appropriate number of "OEM-Upgrade" licenses - one per computer that you want to add this functionality to - then jump to step 6 below.

2. Go through the PayPal screens to purchase your licenses.

3. Now run your copy of "PocketPC Installer Professional", click on Options\Register..

4. Click on the "My Licenses" link on our website, select one of your available PocketPC Installer Professional licenses, then type in the Computer Identifier code that is displayed in the "PocketPC Installer Professional" Register screen.

5. Our website will now show you a License Key, that you should type into your "PocketPC Installer Professional" Register screen, then click on OK.

You have now registered your copy of PocketPC Installer Professional... but it will still create installers with our logos on them.
 

6. Now, in PocketPC Installer Professional, click on Options\Registration Details..

7. In our website, click on the "My Licenses" link again, and find the license that you have just registered.

8. Next to the licensed-on date, you'll see a new "OEM" link. Click on this link.

9. Click on the "Make this an OEM license" link, and you will now see a second (shorter) license key.

10. Type this into the PocketPC Installer Professional Registration Details screen.

11. Finally, open your PocketPC Installer Professional project, and on screen 3, go into the Advanced screen. You'll see our new OEM tab. All you have to do now is to tick the "Remove the 'PocketPC Installer' labels" box.

With this checkbox ticked, when you now build your installers, they will be built without our logos on them.
